Our Why

We didn't set out to build a nonprofit—we were just trying to survive the system. When we left the military, we did what we were told: reach out to VSOs, ask for help, wait for a callback. But the phone stayed silent. The paperwork piled up. The answers never came. And we realized-we were on our own. That experience lit a fire. We knew no veteran should feel that lost or invisible after service. So we created what we desperately needed back then: real people who show up. People who pick up the phone, guide you step-by-step, and don't quit when the system gets tough. Veteran Benefits Advocate exists for that reason. We help veterans and their families get through the VA maze-from education and healthcare to disability compensation.
